Joan Sayers Australia Gumnut Babies Bowl - 10cm

In 1977, she started producing wares incised 'HANDMADE Sayers Australia'. In 1980, the family moved to Queensland, where Joan set up the Redland Bay Pottery, helped by her parents and her children Mark and Katrina. John died in 1984, but Phylis continued to help with decoration until the pottery closed in 1998. The popular gumnut range was first made in 1986.
